Promoting Transparency and Accountability in local governance.

The project is aimed at enhancing the democratic participation of residents beyond the mere participation in elections. It will focus on developing the level of understanding of residents of local government and equip them to have their voices heard in a progressive manner to influence service deliver and developmental decisions taken by their elected representatives. In addition, it would capacity build local councillors and officials to handling public input to the decision making processes so as to avoid conflicts.
