Tell Your Story: Write a compelling campaign description. Explain why you are raising funds, how the money will be used, and why this cause is important to you. Be honest, transparent, and heartfelt to connect with potential donors.

Add Visuals: Upload photos and videos that illustrate your story. Visual content helps donors connect emotionally with your campaign and increases the likelihood of contributions.

Step 2: Share Your Story
Once your campaign is live, it's time to spread the word and engage with your network:

Use social media sharing tools to post your campaign on platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Share updates and milestones to keep your audience engaged.

Step 4: Achieve Your Goals
Once you have reached your fundraising goal or your campaign has ended, it’s time to put the funds to use: Before reading further, take note of:
You can only withdraw funds once you have reached your goal, your campaign's deadline, or when you choose to end the campaign manually. This is subject to change in the future.

Withdraw Funds:
Easily withdraw your funds through the secure payment system on GrowTogether. Follow the prompts to transfer the money to your bank account.

TAKE NOTE: Our platform is free to use, but we do charge transaction processing fees to ensure smooth and fast transactions. As of July 9, 2024, payments are processed through the Paynow Gateway (Innbucks, Ecocash USD, Visa cards, and Omari), which imposes transaction fees on every settlement. Specifically, for every $100, Paynow charges $8.50.

Additionally, there are bank fees when we transfer the funds to your account, which amount to 2.5% of each transaction. For example, if you withdraw $100, you will receive approximately $89 after these fees are deducted.

Breakdown of Fees:
Paynow Gateway Fee: $8.50 per $100
Bank Transfer Fee: 2.5% per transaction

  1. 2.5% of $100:
100×2.5100=100×0.025=2.5100 \times \frac{2.5}{100} = 100 \times 0.025 = 2.5100×1002.5​=100×0.025=2.5
  1. Add $8.50 to $2.50:
8.50+2.50=11.008.50 + 2.50 = 11.008.50+2.50=11.00
  1. Subtract $11.00 from $100:

We can then use the same logic to calculate other different amounts starting from $100. We hope this clarifies how the fees are applied to your withdrawals.
